FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT 2014 (AMENDMENT OF SCHEDULE 3) REGULATIONS 2016
I, PASCHAL DONOHOE, Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 3 of the Freedom of Information Act 2014 (No. 30 of 2014), hereby make the following regulations:
- These Regulations may be cited as the Freedom of Information Act 2014
(Amendment of Schedule 3) Regulations 2016.
- Part 1 of Schedule 3 to the Freedom of Information Act 2014 (No. 30 of 2014) is amended by inserting
“ No. 28 of National Standards Paragraph 5 of the ”
1998 Authority of Ireland Second Schedule.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Instrument and does not purport to be a legal interpretation.)
These Regulations provide for the addition of a reference to the National Standards Authority of Ireland Act 1996 to Schedule 3 of the Freedom of Information Act 2014. This means that the Freedom of Information Act will override the non-disclosure provisions in paragraph 5 of the Second Schedule of the National Standards Authority of Ireland Act 1996.
